Okay, i have a dilemma and need some guidance or suggestions pls. My cousin has a x2800BS and i have an 8500BHS. All my videos are in DIVX format and play well in mine. Unfortunately after trial and error and some reading, i discovered the 2800BS does NOT play divx

So i decided to use NERO RECODE to change it to MP4. The codec used would be AVC/H.264, encoding fast (1 pass) it all came out as MP4. But when plugged in to his vehicle, it did not play. When plugged into the XBOX ONE, it plays well..

So im thinking to myself, how hard can it really be to play song in mp4 format, i mean really. Play songs dloaded from you-tube.! i mean isnt there an addon by now? A hack?  Something rather than me having to go buy 60- 80 bux worth of extra wires so i can play stuff from my phone.  Id rather my usb 3.0 64 gb that works like a charm!

So my question to anyone who is reading this, has anyone managed to get mp4 to play via disc, usb, sd to the x8500bhs?

Or do i have to continue converting each video via DIVX to .divx so i can watch it.??!!! Bleh!

I just want the removable face and updated faster software.. and navteq maps.. and we cool..

after owning my pioneer avic z1 since the first month it debut' this morning bad guys finally took it...

well I'm feeling sowwy for you.. and this is why I don't have a dbl din yet. I've always wanted one since Z1.. but nah.. I want to keep my stuff. no matter if you have a garage or not.. they are other places; stores, movies, families house, outta town, a lot of places.

I had the JVC nx7000 on my other car and I loved it... It probably wasn't as fast as the Z3.. it sometimes lagged a lil. and also I did not like the audio settings options on there. I'm used to the way pioneer has their settings. But because it had a removable face, I bought it. and now I'm comfortable with it. and if pioneer doesn't get a removable face for the Z4, .looks like ill be buying another nx7000. .. too bad because this car has pioneer from fronts to back.

ummm.. if you have something nice and it comes out of your house expect for someone to try to steal or steal it. its a part of life. especially when u have something like a dbl din screen.. so even on my deq9200 and 690ub, I expect for someone to try to take it.. but as long as they expect a 12 gage to come out.. we have a great understanding.

Ok hello ppl.. I'm new to this site.. I was actually looking for something else.. But I guess ill go ahead and share my experience.

NX7000 is better than any other pioneer I've seen. PERIOD. Its installed in my 96 Acura 3.5TL. Its also wired to four other screens in da car.. Operates perfectly..

Next as for time in starting up... Its tricky. With the radio station.. It plays immediately. Before u OK the warning.. Same with CD. With DVD... Its takes approx. 5 sec before u hear sound and about another 3-5 to push the OK button. Then u start watching DVD. I also have a 4 gig usb drive in there.. That takes almost an additional 5-7 sec after u push the OK button. The map is great.. Quick to pick up traffic and tells u how far the traffic is.. When u choose a different road.. It takes 2 sec to re-route. Great EQ with other sound setting.. And its got some different volume button.. I guess its supposed to be similar to the SLA on a pioneer, but its better and louder.. Goes to 8 unlike pioneer which goes to 4. Vicinity check to see where everything is at. Works great. It gives address and phone number and directions. I haven't bought the bluetooth adapter yet, but a friend has told me he controls phone calls through his remote control. He can dial out with the remote.. Now that's sweet. He said he never has to touch his phone. Another nice feature..you can customize the opening statement and closing.. When u trying my car on and right before u click the OK button it says Hello Junior. Closing says Goodbye Junior. But u can change all dat.. It doesn't have to say hello or goodbye.. U can make e it say hi and bye. Video quality is great.. Crystal clear.. Clear enough for me to enjoy my pRon. Detachable face is easy to take off... But also easy to break those two little clips on the side.. So be careful. You will be pissed if u break those prongs. Audio quality is great.

The only reason I haven't put it in my other baby is because I'm trying to see if pioneer is gonna make a comeback. My Infiniti has pioneer HU and EQ and all speakers are pioneer as well.. But the Z3 was a disappointment to me compared to the Z2. I careless about voice recognition. I need the removable face.

Anyway.. They better do something otherwise..I'm buying another JVC. **** oh btw.. I watch videos while driving with no probs.****
