I've got an f700bt - I'm generally happy with it, but I really don't like the radio screen menu. I usually use my HD-Radio tuner, so that I have better clarity, and some RDS info, but it's a pain in the AZZ when trying to change the stations, and/or presets. SO............................ Have any of the Coders/Programmers thought about a way to change the layout of the Radio screen or other menu's, much like some of you have made great changes to the Nav Screen Layouts? I would love to have a Radio screen, in which all my presets were laid out on the screen... more than the 6 tha

Hey Keeper - Looks like a great mod from the pics...thanks for the effort. Question though; I've got a F700, and don't have the MSN Live functionality. If I load this MOD, will it still show the icons for MSN Live, and they just won't function? Or, is there a way to just strip them out of the code? I'm not as computer savvy as most of you guys are, so I don't want to dive too deep into changing code around unless it's pretty obvious on how to remove it. Thanks!

Thanks guys - I got it working without a problem. Except --- The speedo/altimeter MOD. Maverick says we have to delete all occurrences of map.ZOOMVIEW..... Any of you know exactly where they are and how many? Also, he provides the spot for the code, but I don't see what we replace. One more Q - I've seen MOD's for 3D buildings. I'm in Detroit area, but usually in the burbs and not downtown. I've never seen the 3D buildings on the unit before - are they only in the main city areas? I'm not going to bother with the MOD if it won't really apply to me. Thanks again!

Sorry guys if this is a dumb question.... I've used winrar to view the data.zip file, so that I can chance the navi settings that Maverickster has made for us. However, when I open the .ui files, it's a "read only" file, and I can't make changes to it to adjust the ;clock settings, and so on. For example: when I click on the "navigatemap_800_480.ui" file, it opens up in "notebook" on my pc as a "view" file. Do I have to unzip the data.zip file first? I ask, because when I modified the parking-brake speed, I only had to open winrar, and "view" the file to change the parking-brake setti

Hi - Is it just me, or is the destination search/entry remarkably irritating for the D-Series. (I have the D3 with the 08 east map ~burned...thanks for the download & burn instructions btw!) I live in the Detroit area, and for example, this is how I have to search for an address: 1) Street Number; 2) Street Name - Now, this is where I start to get irritated. If I don't get the street name EXACTLY right, such as spelling, or Dr/St/Ave/Blvd...etc... then, it brings up a list of streets within the mid-west region.
