ya i thought it had something to do along the lines of getting too hot. i had just purchased new phillips dvd-r. i thought they were the better ones, but im going to check out the other one you mentioned. thanks.

ok so i have been burning music videos on dvd. everything seems ok when i first put it in and play it. but when the avic n3 has been playing dvd's for awhile, the burned dvds start skipping. and it only does this to burned dvds. but when i put in a regular movie it works just fine. does anyone have problems like this too.
