I don't have any experience with the D3, but I've had the F90BT for about 2 weeks now, and I love it. Originally, my Blackberry Pearl 8130 never stayed connected, but all of the sudden, the connection has been perfect for about 3 days now. I didn't change anything (that I remember), it just started working. About the freezing, sometimes the F90 is slow, but I've already been able to just deal with it- the benefits (definitely including not needing a disc for navigation) have outweighed the negatives for me thus far.
