Its not in a case, as far as I remember it has never worked. I am thinking of reflashing the headunit for the hell of it.

Man this thing is a steaming pile the phone works fine on the computer, i just cant get it to work with the headunit. thanks for the suggestion

When I connect my iphone3g to my f90 it does not recognize it, the usb icon on the head unit stays greyed out. I have tried with the cable from apple as well, same deal. As soon as I plug my regular ipod in it finds it right away. My iphone have version 2.2.1(5H11) firmware. I am dying to get this working so I can use slacker through my iphone instead of the lame mini jack out the front and a seperate car charger. I am out of ideas. Thanks for any help you can give.

I didnt problem solved, next beer is on me im still waiting on a custom install kit, since the metra was a steaming pile for the mazada speed3, as soon as that comes in i can finally put my new car back together, im hyped.

I have an F90BT with a pioneer CD-SB10 connected to SCC1, when I choose sirius from the main menu it shows the weather channel 184, it shows the title changes on songs(i activated it already btw). So it is getting signal, shows channel names, artists, songs etc but has zero sound. I double checked all my connections to and from the radio and everything looks golden, doesnt seem like there is any way to screw up connecting it. Is there something I am missing in the radio settings that isnt allowing volume? The sirius person told me to disable my bluetooth, did no good though. HELP!

Im bummed out, I hooked up my f90bt earlier to find out about this limitation. Is this common for all brands? I am almost certain I read a post on a different board with someone using a western digital usb powered external drive on a kenwood unit. What is the other option here? ...buy a large sized ipod and just stuff it in the glove box? I have spent so much on the unit already and I still need to get the sirius parts as soon as I can afford it, but I was really jazzed up about the external drive thing.
