I have an iphone 3g and when I plug it into my avic-f700bt, i get the message on my phone saying that the accessory is not made for my iphone. I am using the Apple Ipod composite cable and the avic will control the music and all that but I am just concerned about the message. Does anyone else get this message?

My father has the AVIC-f700bt and was thinking about getting the iphone. Since the iphone does not have integrated voice commands, will it still work with the AVICs voice commands to say like CALL HOME or Call Work?

I have an ipod touch with firmware 2.1 on it and I cannot get the ipod to show up. I have an ipod composite cable hooked up to the av input on the back of the unite and have the usb cord conned to the usb input. then i plug my ipod in and all it does it charge and makes a weird noise when I connect it. Am I doing something wrong? I also changed av1 input to ipod.

that is what I am doing. But when i try to adjust one level like say one of the bass frequencies, it will adjust like a few other ones too..

Is there an easy way to adjust the equalizer on this unit? I cannot get great sound using the equalizer if my life depended on it. When i adjust one setting a few bars move and things like that. Is there a way to just adjust bass, mid and treble?

is it possible to add other buttons like radio presets as buttons or just the nav functions

Is there a way to have the volume knob rather than seeking, click to go to the next preset? Or is there a better way change presets without having to be in the navi then pushing FM or hitting menu, source, fm blah blah.

People on my g20 forums have used it for the avic D3 after getting subpar sound through the bose system and got this and they said it works great
