  1. I had the same problem. Somewhere I found the pin-out of the cable that pioneer sells and it didn't match the store bought ones that I had. I ordered the one from pioneer and it worked great. Hope that helps.
  2. Hopefully someone can help. My partner at work and I both have the same problem with avic-F90BT's. His is in a toyota and mine is in a 2005 explorer. Same alarm ( audiovox aps-997a). Never had a problem with the alarm (I've used about 10 over the past 2 years). anyway when you remote start the car, the radio turns on fine and plays but the touch panel is dead. All pysical button work but nothing on the display. If you trun the car off and restart then its fine. This only happens when you first start the car with the remote. Thanks
