  1. That's by design. You can only access it from a few specific screens.
  2. I deleted my phone's connection in the f90 and turned off bluetooth. Turned the unit back on and the VR button still doesn't work. It seems that it has to be some strange software bug (shocker) because I can mute the system fine.
  3. Here's a thread from a while back http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19182&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 I've had the same problem. No idea what causes it and haven't found a fix yet. It hasn't bothered me all that much, just annoyed that it doesn't work. Finally have some free time though, so I may give support a call and see what's up.
  4. Thanks lasrx. How long ago did you log it? I think I'll do the same tomorrow. Yea blackh, so far there doesn't appear to be any reason why some work and others don't. Something must be causing it though.
  5. Yeah, I can't get it to update again because the v2.0 is already applied. And I haven't been able to reset it at all. Just weird that it's happening to some systems and not others.
  6. For anyone else who may end up needing to do this, I couldn't find an sql script to automate this so I downloaded the Expert Trial and saved the db out as a .csv. Then you can take this into a text editor (I used dreamweaver) and 'Find and Replace' the various ()- marks to be left with digits only. Reimport this back into your file with the 'Delete Existing Info' checked and you're done.
  7. Mike that seems to be the same thing that is happening for me as well.
  8. It's WM6 not 6.1 - After seeing that yours worked fine Boris I went checking. I have a pretty customize phone and it turns out one of the settings in a program called s2u2 was preventing the answer button from working. So now, my phone too seems to be working just fine with v2.9
  9. Yes, I have a Samsung i760 with WM6 and 3.3 did not work at all. No sound ever came through the speakers 2.9 works fine except I am unable to answer an incoming call. Pushing the "answer" button does nothing, though the "do not answer" button works as it should. This issue may or may not be related to another problem I'm having with the VR button - http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19182
  10. Tried it in map screen, ipod screen, and av selection screen. No dice for all.
  11. Nope, searched around and even posted a similar thread about 10mins after yours which I then deleted when I saw what you had said. I was gonna pull the unit out and quadruple check that the mic was in the right port, but since yours worked previously and now doesn't it must be some type of firmware issue.
  12. Having the exact same issue. Just installed my system and hadn't even tried VR before I updated to 2.0. But it's the only thing that does not seem to work. Can mute the system and change stations fine, but no Voice Command.
