Yea i ripped to my hard drive with shrink. I downloaded nero but it was like 440 mb and i tried using it and couldnt figure it out so i deleted it... is there just hte burning version i can download? It wants me to download the ultra

Im giving up on the license part. I ripped a DVD to my computer now, didnt take too long with Shrink. Do you have a link to burn it to an actuall dvd or do i need to make the video mpeg. the file has a video and audio subfiles. so here i am confused what to do with it?

thanks Ducatiboy... I think it has something to do wiht the DRM encoding.. TEMPGENC doesnt want to open any of the WMV

Ok the program definitely works for the avi movies but not hte WMV. The WMV is the licensed video, and when i try to open with TMPGENC, it says file not supported.

OK the format thing makes since but what i mean about the license part is it is DRM encoding i think. its things i purchased offline About how long does it take to convert because the program i use takes like an 30 min just to do 200 mb

Ok i have been reading the post and wondering what i need to do about ripping? Is there a certain format that you need your video in to make a DVD. - Everytime i try to put video on the DVD, it converts AVI, WMV to something that takes so long. Is there a reasone for this or maybe its the program i am using. Also some of the videos are licensed... is there a way to make a DVD from them? Any help would be great!

Ok, so when i use my mp3 player do i push aux on the z1 or input?

Just FYI, at night the screen is really bright and when driving slow everyone can see you. A good way to stop that is making the screen black or turn off. the screen turns off but the system is still on. To do this just hold down the [v] button for five seconds and it turns off. to turn it on just tap the screen. I havent read anything on this and thought it would be helpful!! 8)

Yea, i was looking on the back and couldnt find the aux, it would just say a/v input. You are right about the aux plug in the scion, and i still have the wires but they are hooked up with a lot of other wires that use to connect to my old equipment. should i clip them and insert them into someone on the port to the z1?

I have had my Avic Z1 for about 6 months and i can not use my mp3 player. On my stock radio, there was an aux that i would just connect it to in the front but the avic does not have this feature? is there anyway i can hook the old aux up? I have the Scion TC if that gives you any desciption to what i am talking about. i have went though alot of posts and nothing really is helping.
