First set the brightness with the lights off, then turn them on and set it again to however much dimmer you want its. to set how much it dims with the lights on turn them on and set the brightness again. If you dont want it to dim just set the brightness the same as when they are off

Thanks for the help. My Ipod plays video through it fine so I dont think its the wiring. I forgot to mention though that the time i got the static i was powering my ps2 from a regular wall outlet because a friend had my inverter at the time. If I run it off my inverter is there anyway that could fix the static.

I hooked up my playstation to my 700bt and the picture shows up with a static bar about half the size of the screen that scrolls up the screen when the playstation is turned on. Any help would be greatly appreciated
