  1. I have a z2 that I want to test before i tear my dash apart for install, is it possible to use a battery charger to power up the z2 while i test it? In other words, hook up the acc and constant power wires to the + and the ground wire to the - of the battery charger, then set the charger on the lowest setting, turn on the z2 so I can test it and make sure it's all working ok.
  2. when doing the 2 wire bypass, is it ok to connect all 3 wires and use 1 shared grounding point? for example, the units main ground wire, and the 2 wires from the '2 wire bypass' all connected to the ground wire from the wiring harness that will plug into the vehicle. for amps I would use a different ground point for each amp, but for something like this, would it be ok? TIA
