Nah, mine are mp3's, wma's, and it even picks up my ringtone folder (use the card in my phone sometimes) and they're encoded to like 64kb and 96kb quality and they play fine. I've noticed it's a very random thing. Some will finish one day, the next day, that very same mp3 will cut off short. It really doesn't make any sense to me honestly. I bring the card back to the computer and play it, and it always finishes, so it's definitely something in the unit that's not reading something right. Sadly I've given up though.. I boxed it back up yesterday and I'm heading back to Best

Yeah but add 2-3 seconds to hundreds and hundreds of mp3s?.. that sucks I'm almost ready to take this thing back sadly. I hate to unplug all of this crap but damn for the money we paid.. this is sad.

Nice, that's just the info I was looking for. I have the ImToo also so that works out good. All I need is the iPod which will be here soon I tried the USB too.. man that was worthless.. lag city there. I did notice the SD Card was MUCH better than the USB, but I want something with a ton more memory. Thanks for the help!

I've been searching a bit and this was the closest thing I could find to the question I was going to ask. The only thing I'm curious about, does the video you play from your iPod utilize the whole screen of the avic? Or is it just a portion. I'm pondering buying an iPod but wasn't sure about how that really works. I mean I have a ton of video conversion software, but didn't know if the iTunes software converts the video for you... orrrr if the avic just auto fits the video. Sorry if it's been asked before.

N00b here. I used to own the Avic D3 and I remember you could change the wallpaper but I've only seen the splash screen change for this f700bt. Are all these pictures just for the loading screen only? Is there not a way to change the wallpaper this time round?
