im just wondering if anyone knows of someone or a company who can repair these in the ottawa area. my unit had a mechanism failure. Or maybe if its possible to fix the problem myself. The drive mechanism failed as i was putting an mp3 disc in. it pulled it in and then the screen said mechanism failure. is it possible for someone who has almost no experience to fix by myself.

i had the light green wire plugged on the ground first. it didnt work. so that means my radio is burnt??

i just bought an avic n1. i have a light green wire, and two black wires can someone tell me where these go. Now on my clarion the light green one went to ground. im not sure about the n1 someone told me positive. problem 2: i plugged it in both ways and all the lights turn on, it will accept the cd and eject it on command but nothing else work. none of the buttons not the source button, anything. i cant even turn it off unless i turn the key back to the off position. can anyone help with these problems. thanks
