  1. I'll try that and I'm also trying to delete those tts files to restore them hopefully.
  2. UPdate** I uploaded the firmware successfully. Now the unit runs so much better. I also updated the bluetooth then when I went to upload the tts, it freezes like others have the same problem. I will check the easy stuff first. I will connect a different a/v to see if that has the same problems and then from there on I will know if its the ipod cable or loose pins. If the sound problem is the same then i'll know that it's the pins. oh ok so its the pins then? SHould I even question the ipod cable at all? I checked and rechecked and the rca cables are plugged in properly.
  3. Im trying a regular sd card today.... I thought of that too, but doesnt the ipod send music signal through usb cable since its playing audio not the video? I tried using a usb and it works with it so it's either loose pin, faulty cable, and/or software. Everytime I play music through the usb and choose the map the song skips when the car moves. This unit reacts very slowly.
  4. Hi all, I just recently purchased the avic f700 and installed it successfully with the wire bypass and everything works perfect. I also purchased pioneer ipod cable. Defects: does not read any of my sd cards IPOd sound only plays on one side of the speakers I am using micro sd cards with sd adapter. Should that be an issue? SHould I try a regular sd card? This is preventing me from updating my firmware to hopefully fix the ipod issue. All products were purchased from a big retailer brand new so I dont know if it's a faulty cable or buggy firmware. Any help is greatly appreciat
