  1. Intersting kit, looks quite nice... however, in the notes below, it specifically states that it's NOT compatible with the BMW Professional (=Logic7?) audio system. I'm starting to think I should've either gotten iDrive or should NOT have gotten Logic7, hehe. [edit] Kit isn't for sale alone, either - only for sale with a navi system.
  2. I'm not worried about the bezel refab, as there are premade factory replacement bezels. I'm more worried about the Logic7 compatibility (i.e. lack of), meaning I can't remove the stock head unit without losing all sounds (this is what people are saying). I'd probably have to tap into the AUX of the system and constantly run everything on AUX - this is assuming the unit even supports that - but thereby losing iPod and USB connectivity. Ack...
  3. Hi all, I am thinking of installing an AVIC (not decided which one yet) in a BMW 328 or 335 (still shopping). Has anybody done this? I suspect I need a custom dash kit, since the stock radio is trapezoidal and much wider than a 1DIN. Any help appreciated. Want to avoid having to build a car PC, that took too much time last time Thanks! -jB
