after reading the posts about the bluetooth with the z1, i was a little scared, but mine came out great. the installer brought the mic from up behind the instrument cluster. so it sits like in the little cubby at the side of the speedometer, ect.. he turned the volume down a few bars from the stock settings, and has volume for phone coming out of only the right side speakers. as i talk to people i ask them how it sounds and they say awesome, so i am very happy. the bluetooth on this unit is really cool. hope this helps someone.

when the nav lady talks to give me guidance, the music is not muted. it is muted when i get a bluetooth call, why not when i am getting nav guidance? and if there is a setting for this please let me know, i searched and am at a loss, thanx. i am afraid if i am jamming to loud, i will miss a turn command.

can the little clock in the upper right hand corner of the screen be removed. i looked through the menus but i don't see anything. if it can be removed, please say how. thanx!

i do not understand how to put my phone book into my z1. phone: motorola razr v3c i hit "read buisness cards" button, then it disconects my phone and a message pops up that says, "ok-send buisness cards from phone now". i do not know what to do at this point! looking at my phone menus there is nothing in my phone like that, help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok- i see the 6 presets for the serious, and i set them. for the life of me i cannot figure out how to get to any more presets, i thought there was to be like 18 or so. please help me, thanx.

hi, i just got back from the installer, there is a black square thing in the box they did not use, is that it?? oh, mine is a z1. this thing has blown me away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the thing looks like a black bezel, but in the navigator they don't use it i guess. let me know.

i just got back from the installer. i got avic-z1,back-up camera,bluetooth,sirius, ipod. i just have to say, this system is so amazing, i am totally blown away!! it is so easy to move from function to function. it is so cool to have my ipod at my command. they took out all my factory speakers and replaced them with infiniti component speakers and put in an infinit amp. they did the steering wheel controls which is awesome. (in the navigator there is no way to save the factory rear dvd system) so i had them put in a 12" drop down dvd player, awesome!!. well, i just wanted to say i am thril

when the z1 antenna and sirrius antenna are attached onto the roof of the vehicle are you able to go through car washes without the antennas being ripped off?????

hello, if you experts had to choose a location for the 2 antennas(z1 and sirrius) where would you recommend they go. this is for a 2005 lincoln navigator. dash, outside roof, ect.. please give me some input, thanx. i am ignorant to the best location.

hi, i am new to the board. i am from columbus, oh. i am having a complete new system installed in my '05 navigator. this is what is being installed next week. pioneer avic-z1, bluetooth adaptor, ipod adaptor, pioneer back-up camera, steering wheel control, also a rear seat dvd with 12" monitor, all factory speakers are being replaced with infiniti component speakers, and an infinit power amp. i am having it professionaly installed by an excellent company(because i would totally screw it up, then get mad,ect, ect..) the total cost is $5,500.00 does this sound somewhat reasonable or in the
