Chapter 25 of the manual, Customizing preferences, Map Settings, Night Mode, it has manual and automatic modes. I have no doubt it's like most units and uses a best guess clock setting. Come on people.. you don't even have to print the manual, just read the PDF once. Diane Diane, nothing to do with the manual.... its switched to auto and still does not change at night.

I have my F-series set to automatic mode but the screen never changes at night.... is there a sensor somewhere that didn't get installed or am I missing something? Thanks

Just tried it and did not work.... All I did is replace the Compass code from the file with this code. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Curious timing. I just answered that for another guy in Keeper's thread. I haven't tried it, but this should work: ;compass As I told the other guy, this might be overkill (i.e. you might just need to add the alternative sprite to the first one), but this should do it from a belts and suspenders perspective. I'm trying to do the linear compass. Where do I input this code? thanks

the first data file worked perfectly with my 700BT. I haven't tried the latest one...

Installed it and looks great! Only things I would like to change would be to a Linear Compass and maybe have the altitude displayed some where when in route mode. Indeed an awesome mod! Thanks for the hard work doing it!!

Maverickster, I have downloaded your Data.zip file, besides replacing the Data file do I need to change/replace any other files to get the same stuff you have? thanks for the great work!
