  2. Was thinking about trying something, but wanted to know if anyone had an opinion on it first. It all hinges on whether or not the iPhone's contact list is recorded on the sim card or somewhere else. If it is, i was thinking that i might be able to switch the sim card to a phone that's compatible with a BT contact transfer and have it moved that way before switching it back to the iphone. I'm hoping that the contact list won't be specific to the phone source when it's originally downloaded, but at this point, i'm really just hopefull that the sim card itself will be compatible with ano
  3. and....i'm stupid. friend pointed out that i needed to hit the mobile device key on the Z3 and THEN try to pair the iphone with it. I was thinking that it would do it automatically. problem solved and the iphone works perfectly now. thanks.
  4. i researched that and was hoping that it would work, but for some reason, when i try to connect using the iphone, i don't even get the option to enter the passkey. I just says it can't connect. the other option (connecting from the Z3) doesn't work either as the Z3 doesn't even recognize the phone as a source. i'll try it with a friends 1st gen iphone and see what happens.
  5. I recently installed the ND-BT1 module in my Avic-Z3 and can't get it to work with my iPhone 2g. The iPhone recognizes the Z3 just fine, but refuses to link up, while the Z3 can't even locate the iPhone. Is the ND-BT1 not compatible with the iPhone? Is there a workaround for it? If the ND-BT1 isn't compatible, is there another BT module that's compatible with the Z3? Should I firebomb Apple for being a bunch of proprietary douchebags...? additional info: bt is enabled on iphone. bt works just fine with the wife's Sony Ericsson walkman phone.
