I've had two separate shops install the microphone and both put it in the same place. At the top of the windshield in the center. I did ask about placement thinking a more head on position would work better and they said no, where it is the best place. Anyone else have any thoughts on the placement issue or any other suggestions. Thank you for your replies.

I've had my F90BT in since January of this year. I have been experiencing VR problems and folks I talk to on the phone say I sound like I am 8 miles away from the phone when I am at a stand still and can't make out what I am saying most of the time while the car is in motion. I've had the microphone replaced once under warranty already. I'm at wits end here with this thing. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm looking for a recommendation for an installer in the milwaukee area as well. Can anyone help me out?
