  1. Went right out to radio shack and got the cables suggested...works PERFECT. Thank you very much...once again, you guys are amazing
  2. Hi, I just installed my F700 and have a volume problem. My original audio system ran from the factory stereo to an AMP and then to the speakers. The amp only has inputs for the factory speaker wires and No RCA type plugs. As a result, i wired the F700 using a harness and connected all the appropriate speakers.....now...the problem is that BOTH the Pioneer F700 AND the factory AMP amplify the volume! So at volume level 5 my ears are ready to explode and even at volume 0 you can "hear" the spears (static, noises) etc...because they are constantly boosted and turned up way way too
  3. thanks for the reply...that's what I was thinking anyways, that with the long bootup time, they just wouldn't let you turn it off other than the screen. One more question: My original radio is connected to a factory JBL amp before it goes to all the speakers. However, instead of having RCA type plugs, it had wire-type harness connection from the original radio. As a result, I used the wire harness and now BOTH the pioneer AND the JBL amplify my sound which = that volume level 6 is already unbearable. So I'm wondering: Is there a way to turn off the amp within the pioneer but h

Hey guys, I've been searching and reading tons of useful information about my new F700...i'm in the middle of installing it, and was wondering: i know i can turn the screen on the unit off, but is there an on/off mode as well where I can turn the WHOLE thing off??? I searched but couldn't find anything Thanks
