i installed my avic d3 yesterday and it was working fine. I unhooked the harness to clean up some wiring, and when I hooked it back up, the nav says I am in NY (I am actually in NH). This actually happened yesterday but it resolved itself. Is there anyway to force a recalculation of current location?

after searching for a while... found my answer. remote amp turn on. hope this helps someone else

Newbie Question... I bought a used Avic D3 from a buddy and am installing it in my wife's tucson. I got a Hyundai harness and got that all together (along with the bypass thank you!). Question: On the AV harness, there is a blue/white stripped wire. What is that for? Is it remote? Can I just add it to the remote in the stereo harness? I am not sure what position it is in, but its in the middle and above a pink wire. Thanks
