  1. Its been a while since I ran my D3 in my truck due to switching back to my stock set-up when I planned on selling it but after installing it again I have a few questions. My subs sound like complete crap. I bought a brand new RCA harness before I re-installed the unit but they sound very muddy and crappy. Something else I did that was dumb was forgot to adjust the gain controls on the Axxess GMOS-04 adapter that is needed for my truck (03 Silverado SS). Basically with the volume on the unit at 35 it is semi loud but should be much louder. I am going to rip my dash apart Friday to do that
  2. stupid question but are you driving or sitting still>?
  3. is your d3 still hooked up or are you back to stock? Disconnect the battery for about 30min and while its disconnected go through all your fuses again, sometimes fuses can look ok but they are bad. Hopefully after the 30min the BCM with be re-set and work normal again. What kind of vehicle is it? I just don;t see you frying a BCM from a HU install unless you really crossed some wires but even then you would had to of been pulling wires out from somewhere else besides the factory harness for your stereo. Do you have a amp installed anywhere? Did you pop the main fuse by ground out the
  4. where the cord goes in is the back, let us know if it works because I have been seeing a lot of these threads
  5. My D3 was the same way, cleared and re-learned still same issue. My Nav antenna wasn't facing straight and the direction it was facing is the same the arrow would point. Faced it straight and now the arrow is correct. I don't know if this is normal but this is what happened with mine for some reason
  6. your gps mount is crooked, make sure it is straight wherever you mounted it and it should fix it. I just dealt with this today and lost my mind till I turned it straight with my truck
  7. ended up just ordering a new RCA harness, some of the other RCA's were broke right at the pin area.
  8. no one has any ideas if i can pin in a RCA output for the subs instead of having to buy a new harness?
  9. Not to sure where the 2 RCA's got to out of the harness but they are MIA. Am I able to wire 2 RCA's back into the harness where the old ones were using the same PINS? I don;t have the patience to wait for a whole new harness and this one is fine except the Sub output RCA's gone missing.
  10. Today I knocked the mounting sleeve and trim ring off my work bench when I was trying to squeeze by to of my quads and got hung up on my bench and down went the sleeve and ring only for me to step right on them. Any ideas where I can get a replacement quickly? The trim ring I'm not as worried about but the sleeve I need ASAP. Any other models work from Pioneer that I might find at a local dealer? Thanks in advance
