I thought I bought a F900BT, the box says so, however when I use the Test Mode and go to the Device Name, it is written as a F700. My question is have I been ripped off, can someone else with a F900BT check the device name please?

I was reading that it is possible to run several different nav software, In Aus we use the Whereis Program, not sure if this is the same as IGO, however on the F900BT there is a IGO folder. Basically I would like to know if it is possible to replace the software from whereis to Route66. I prefer the old Route66 without the warning screen.

ok, thanks for the link, was an interesting read, Just to add to this, the last nav software I was using was Route66, has anyone managed to get this to work on the F900BT. It would load quicker with no acknowledge screen

Hi all, I have just bought and installed my F900BT, Still waiting on the remote harness adaptor, however I have noticed that each time I turn the unit on I have to acknowledge a message before the maps are displayed, does anyone know if there is a mod that can either bypass this or delete this. I did search a few pages and can not locate it in the hacks or mods pages. Thanks in advance...............
