i have this same problem. i have the 160gb ipod classic and no artwork shows up. except there is one from a Ricky Gervais halloween podcast that DOES show up on screen for some strange reason. i haven't been able to figure it out. i can watch movies fine on the AVIC, but no album artwork.

so i discovered today that the unit does display artwork on the podcasts of my ipod. nothing else though. i've tried embedding it in my mp3s and everything. pretty strange...

this post should be stickyed. it was simple and informative. although i did end up deleteing some of the included pictures lol...thanks for doing this though. worked like a charm.

thanks for the replies guys. my artwork shows up fine on the ipod, its just not on the Avic. i guess it is just a weird bug going on. seems im not the only one.

i figured i'd ask the real experts over here. i have the F700BT and am very pleased with it in general. i use a 160gb ipod classic. the problem i'm having is i get NO album artwork displayed on the screen. just has the music note. the movies i have on the ipod play on screen just fine, so I know it can't be the cable. when i contacted pioneer (by email and phone) they told me it was something with my ipod software (which is up to date). anyway, this is not a huge issue but i would like to figure out how to get the AVIC to display the artwork that i have, since it is capable to do so. an
