I downloaded the WM6.1 from HTC's website and it worked fine installing from Windows XP. I haven't tried the VR yet, I was just happy that it transfered the contacts. It did it automatically from the Pioneer. The contacts are last, first and I haven't played with it enough to see the number format it is in. I may change the contacts in Outlook and then reload them again if there is any glitches.

I went and did the update for the phone to Windows Mobile 6.1. This fixed the problems that I was having. Now the phone doesn't lock up anymore and the contacts downloaded automatically to the unit. I would advise anyone doing the upgrade to WM6.1 that it be done on windows XP and not from Vista. I initially started from Vista and it threw multiple error codes. Called the phone manufacturer and found that ther is a programming error with Vista and WM6.1

I have the 900BT and have not been able to get my phone to synch the contacts. I saw a response by someone with the PPC6700 and mentioned installing the jetware software. I installed this on my phone and it still will not send the contacts I also have another problem which may be the phone, not sure. At times after my phone connects it will lock up and you are unable to call in our out. The cell phone screen is locked as well and the only way to return to normal use is to do a soft reset on the phone itself. The 900BT is fine and all functions are present. This problem seems to be mo
