Nice mod! Wouldn't fit in right now with my mods but definately creative. As far as giving thanks it definately never hurts to thank some of the talented minds on here. Boris, Maverickster, Keeper, and Catch Me If U Can, have taken the time out to teach me things and made my F900 a great unit. I have thanked them countless times already but wanted to give them credit once again! Everyone should keep up the great work and continually improve these units.

Nothing is wrong. It shows up as its supposed to. Image.res is a zip file. You need to open the zip file to make changes.

MOD is modifications. We modify the units to be more user friendly and add things that should have come with this unit stock. After doing some mods these units definately get my approval and i am very happy with my F900 now. There was a 2.0 firmware update realeased and the boot up times were improved. Buy the unit!

Bingo! Thanks for the thread. I followed her directions and was able to do it. I am still having one issue with it though. Maybe you can help me? I am attaching my bmp. It has a red background which i thought would go away when put on the system but it doesnt. How do i get the red background to go away? car3d.rar

I made changes exactly as instructed to. I changed the daycar and night car bmps in the common folder to daycar-bak and nightcar-bak. Then i added the bmp icon i wanted to use and renamed it daycar and nightcar. Rebooted and the arrow still shows up? Now im stumped because i beleive the arrow should no longer show up because its named daycar-bak and nightcar-bak. Can anybody tell me what i did wrong?

There talking about the font size when u bring up POI details or Traffic info details, etc. When the information comes up the font size is very small. Where would we find that in the igo folder?

I have no lag whatsoever on my buttons. Definately isn't mavs zip!

I'm having trouble to any mods to my unit. i've followed the directions to use testmode to access windows but has soon as the screen loads and i try to x out the screen or hit the start button and try to open up explorer it freezes and green block come up? Please help!!!!!
