I'm new to this and not exactly tech savvy. I have the F900BT for about 2 years in my truck. Always great. Yesterday, out of no where, it started to keep shutting off and on. Lasted about 3 minutes each time. Then it would do it again. I called Pioneer and after waiting on hold for LITERALLY 30 minutes, I was told it's $230 to fix it flat-rate. Told me its a software problem and nothing he could do. Very arrogant dude. Anyway, so here i am. Any help? Pleaseeeeeee I operate on an Mac. I see people post links and I know Apple can be difficult. Thanks to anyone who can help!!

Thanks for all of your input. I really do appreciate it. I think I'm going to go for it. But one more question....By MOD do you mean the different things you can do ie. back up camera and ipod etc or is that something totally different? thanks

Whats MOD? lol I'm not too familiar with all the lingo so bear with me. I've read numerous reveiws and they seem to be 50/50. Some say that Nav isnt too great and some say that it takes too long to load up. Especially concerning to me is that I read it takes up to 2 minutes to get the back-up camera going after you put it in reverse. These are all things that make a $1000 radio very undesireable. Is there new "firmware" etc to correct these problems? Thanks

I am unsure if I should replace my stock radio in my expedition with this unit. I heard about this forum and figured I'd reach out. Thanks for your help.
