The SD card icon doesn't even light up on either unit. The Z says SD card error, and the AVHP3200 says unplayable format

I've been having some trouble with a Z110BT not reading an SD card, I also tried a 3200BT and it is also not reading the SD card. I've tried AVI formats, m4p formats for the I-pods, I've used the Aimersoft program to convert the files. The only thing I can think of is it's a 8gb SDHC card, has anybody else had this issue?
