Thank you..so theres no way for the ipod to work with out purchasing the optional wire..

Oh ok thanks..so I take it that it works but you cannot transfer contacts..

#1: Does the Avic D3 come with the iPod wire? ..if so, does it connect to the back or front of the unit? And does it charge the unit while it is connected? ..I know that Pioneer sells a seperate wire to connect to the ipod..thats why its a little confusing..I would like my ipod to be hid away in the glovebox but I also want it charging at the same time.. #2: Does the DVD bypass have to be done before the installation or can it be done when everything is installed? Thanks

Does the D3 work with the Google G1 phone as far as bluetooth goes?
