I had the F700... and it is garbage. I went through 4 of them. I finally went ahead and got the P4100. It has a bigger screen, so it makes it look a lot less aftermarket. Start up is much quicker. No annoying proprietary iPod interface cable. You have an iPhone. You pay $30/month for the data plan. Use it. Google Maps is included. I couldn't stand the voice coming in 4 times to tell me to turn. The F700's maps have to be updated as well... I saved $300 in the end.

Hey guys, I looked all over eBay, but no luck on what I am looking for. Basically, I have a 30GB iPod video I use for a lot of my stuff (music and videos) connected to my F700. I also have an iPhone 3G. I have found that I plug in my iPhone more often because it gets updated a lot more because it is convenient and because I need to charge it. I have the wires in my glove box and it reaches the center console fine, but when I want to talk on it, I have to lean over because it does not fully reach. My question is, are there any alternatives than the $60 iPod interface cord that Pioneer offers? I

OK, after a long day retrofitting my headlights, I found a solution. You are going to need the ORIGINAL iGO folder. I didn't have it, so I went to work (Best Buy) and copied it off the display unit and loaded it into mine. Works sweet now =]

Same here, just happened today. Boot screen comes up, then shuts off. Nothing else. I am going to try to load the firmware 2.0 update and hope that works. This is my 3rd unit already
