  1. This would have been really helpful last week when I had a similar problem. Turns out my problem was the bad software problem. Here's how I fixed it. I know this method has worked for at least one other member on this forum who had the same problem (i.e. continuous rebooting regardless of speed, antenna, etc.) 1) Download the F90BT backup files from http://66.59.250.9:8000/. This will take a day or two, so use a download manager so you can resume. You can also use an FTP protocol. User name is avic. No password (just leave it blank). 2) Unzip and copy the files to a 2GB SD card
  2. Looking for the exact specs of the F series units (specifically my f900bt). Does anyone know the following: What version of Windows CE is running in the background? Make, model and speed of CPU? Speed and capacity of RAM? Also, is the bluetooth port cable of making data connections? Basically, I'm trying to see if I can run this on my f900bt: http://www.skpang.co.uk/catalog/product ... cts_id=169 Thanks in advance

  4. Here's mine for anyone with a GTI or GLI Fahrenheit...
  5. No idea - I didn't either. Mine just randomly started doing that one day.
  6. I bought a used unit on ebay that has this problem. I am returning it because I don't want to deal with this, but I have found a workaround. I'm not sure if this will work for everyone, but it worked for me. My problem was worse than some have described. My unit would reset at the splash screen, so early in the process that I could not ever boot into testmode. After much playing around, I discovered the following sequence that seems to work. Keep in mind that the slightest deviation from this exact sequence causes the procedure to fail. 1) Turn the car on, allow the unit to try an
  7. your back-up camera setting is screwed up. similar thing happened to me. i forget exactly how i fixed it, but somehow i was able to get to the menu (try combinations of reset and menu button presses). then go to settings for the backup camera. you'll see that neither the on or off buttons are selected. push the off button and you should be all set.
