I queried Pioneer yesterday at the status of the 2.0 update for the US F500BT. Below is the response I received. Good news!

Has anyone tried to install this yet on a US F500BT? I am getting very frustrated as I see January slipping away and the supposed delvery of the update according to another post was December 2008. Thanks! Dan
