i looked at the manual and it shows how i can select like playlists and stuff like that using a touch screen but nope not at all i don't get that.

well i had a panasonic unit before i switched to my pioneer and i just installed the unit today and frankly i'm quite disapointed. I put it in and the "ipod" did not come up, rather ext 1 came up. all i could do was select playlists and blah i'm really frustrated. Is there something i'm doing wrong? oh i do have the xm radio and the xm box is first then i plugged the cable from the xm box to ipod box. Let me know guys

yeah tahts what i ended up using. thanks a lot guys. last thing to do is wire up the speed sensor. i'll take some pics and post them up later

well i'm using a reverse camera. but i just have a little nub on the back of my car for an antenna. So just rip out the power antenna wire in the pioneer harness and throw it in that blank slot? will my am/fm not work if i do that?

Ok well i just got my avic d2 last night and i went to install it and got most of it and said i would leave the hack till today. BUt i was looking at it and where do i get this spare wire people talk about? What wire can i just not use and put in the spare pin. Also i didn't hook up my speed sensor wire bc i wasn't sure where to find it. i need to go to radio shack and pick up some more heat wrap but other than that its pretty close to done, i'll post pics up when i get it fully done. ahh ok i see it now so each accessory has a little "piggy back" function and it can just leach onto itself. if i want to get a rear view camera so i can just watch have it on while driving would i just hook it into the rca or is there something special i need to do with it?

Well i just bought a N3. (FINALLY) and i'm looking at getting xm, a backup camera and a ipod adapter. I was wondering will all these fit to the brain or will i have to get a splitter so to speak.
