I will start by saying I purchased a lifetime msn plan from microsoft earlier this year for $99. I called MSN when I found out they are cancelling and they are giving a prorated discount to anyone who calls in to question and keeping your service active until the Jan 1, 2012 date. I got $89.83 back (not bad considering I signed up 8-9 months ago). So if you get the new card from stang - or if you had one-time payment msn prior, make sure to call them and get your rebate portion back...while continuing to get service.
