what do you mean partly pulled out of the harness? Didn't think it was supposed to be

I recently had my Z1 pro installed in my 06 Grand Prix but the installer woudn't do the by-pass so i did it myself the other day. However, now since the bypass the speed sensor works most of the time but every once in awhile it just goes to 0 and sits there for a second and doesn't do anything. I had read that someone said that the pink wire connectors were flaky so i cut them off and redid them and it still does it....Anyone got any ideas?

ok well i'm still having issues with the stupid thing...But the freaky thing it only says it sometime and it goes way....I pulled out the unit again this weekend and all the wires are still there. I also tried it w/o the vss wire and it wouldn't work...do i have to reset it if i do that?

I was looking around and was wondering if there was anyway to create a custom Z1 boot screen? I've got a really nice one... see below and would LOVE to use it!

hmmm had it pro installed but ya know how that goes....They said they plugged it all up....but then i had to go back and do the bypass. I'm thinking i mite have pulled the wire a lil loose or something. But the unit is very fine don't know why its saying that excessive vibration shit

In the mornings and only in the mornings my nav system does not work properly. After i have drove around a little it'll work fine but in the mornings the speed pulse doesn't pick up (its off and on) and the installation position says excessive vibration. Any ideas? I have a feeling there is just some loose wires. What do you think?

I have a 06 Grand Prix and a Aviz-Z1....I recently put in a PAC SWI-X and i was wondering what are some general tips/guide for this part. Thanks Austin

Ok i recently purchased a July 06 Z1 and had it pro installed. However, the installed would not do the by-pass for me so this weekend i did the bypass. All was working well on the way home from doing it but when i woke up this morning and got in it i noticed the speed pulse is not reading at all. is this part of the bypass or did i unhook something? Second my gps is all over and providing horrible info. Think something might has came unhooked. I checked and its having a hard time getting signal and one of the the little hookup things lites on and off....Any ideas?
