  1. so what's the USB connector for guys? Obviously the RCA outputs go into the harness of the F900, but where does the USB connector to? It's located on the IPOD connector side too.
  2. I just finished my install. Thanks to all those who have helped me on this forum. One quick question, does the map rotate point your path of travel as forward? In other words, does the arrow always point forward? I've found that my map doesn't NOT rotate and if I'm driving forward (going say...West) then on my map it'll show my car going to the 'left' as it's always pointing North as up on top. Can this be changed?
  3. thanks guys for taking the time to answer my question. The vehicle is an 08 Nissan 350z, so no power antenna. The vehicle comes with the upgrade Bose system, which I'm completely bypassing. I'm using a new F90bt headunit, new wires for the speakers, new speakers, new subwoofer, 2 new amps, new rca cables.
  4. I understand about moving the yellow/black wire from Pin 1 to Pin 2. I also understand that this wire needs to be connected to the Light Green Parking Brake wire on the other harness. Then these two wires need to be grounded. My question is according to the manual the Light Green Parking Brake wire 'Should have' been connected to the POSITIVE side of the Parking Brake switch. So am I understanding it right that to 'hack/bypass' this I should now connect this Light Green Parking Brake wire to GROUND along with the Mute Yellow/Black wire??? Please confirm guys before I short/burn
  5. thanks guys..I appreciate your input and time to help out newbie installers like myself!
  6. Hi guys..this seems like a really dumb question but I'm hoping someone can clarify. On my F90BT "Power" harness there is a Blue Antenna Control wire. On my Scosche Nissan Connector there is a Blue Power Antenna wire. Easy enough! Now I also needed a Scosche Antenna Adapter (2007-Up Nissan) it also has a Blue Wire. So now I have 3 Blue Antenna wires...do they all go together??? Help out a radio newbie guys.. thanks!
  7. I plan on running two amps, how should I run the remote activation turn-on wire? Should I run one wire from the head unit, then split into two (one for each amp)? Or should I run a jumper wire from the first amp to the second amp? thoughts guys?
  8. wow thanks guys! Snakeyes, that's a beautiful install!! Are those cross-overs on both sides? If so, is it necessary/recommended to keep them close to the speakers/tweeters that they drive or can i mount them a little further to ease mounting restraints? Another question, since I will completely bypass the stock Bose system (headunit, amp, wires..etc)...do I need a harness to wire in my aftermarket Pioneer headunit to get power? I'm thinking I can just tap into the harness on the car to get switched power, ground to the chasis, antenna cable, and remote wire for my amp turn-on. Is t
  9. I need some advice. I'm replacing my stock 08 350z Bose system with new component speakers and 2 Rockford fosgate amps (P400-4 and P400-2) My question is should I run 2 separate power lines from the batter to each amp individually or should I feed power from the first amp into the 2nd amp?
  10. thanks for the replies guys!!!
  11. I have the F90BT on order. It already comes with the Iphone cable interface. Anyone know if this cable is already attached? If not, can/should I replace it with an Apple-branded one?
  12. I did some searching and I believe the harness for Steering wheel controls for Pioneer units is PAC SWI-PS. Is this Thee only option? Are other manufacturers that make these harnesses? Only reason I want to ask is to see what other options are available and pricing/performance comparisons. thanks!
  13. Hi guys, Wondering you guys can give me some feedback on Bluetooth phone clarity? How's the mic volume and call clarity? Do parties on the other end hear and understand you clearly?
  14. Will the mute function work after this mod?
