Hi folks. I have an AVIC DRV50 installed that needs a system disc for a unit installed initially in Japan . Disk III, Type II from what I understand. Question is, understand that the nav component will not work so just want the dvd component to operate plus music, radio. Is their a system disc that just initializes those components or is it a crawl through to get the Japanese disc Thanks for any help.

Help Have just purchased an Alfa Romero 147 with a Pioneer AVIC DRV50 system installed. Says inest appropriate eisc and I have been told I need to install the "system" disk. Od course not provided with the car when I purchased it. I have spoke to a few folk and they say I need an orange disk? Type III, Volume 2 for the Japanese Market. I believe they do not make for the New Zealand market. Am I correct something about PAl/NSTC format?? and the functionality of the GPS pickup??? Even If I can watch DVD's and listen to music etc that would be great. Any help greatly appreciated.
