Thanks guys. I've tried both of those methods and the unit is not picking up the phone either way. Ironically, I tried my wife's phone and not only did the unit not pick it up, my wife's phone picked up my Q which was in the house about 50 feet away. This tells me that the Q is working OK and the unit is not discovering anything. Any other thoughts out there? Could this be a wiring problem or simply a bug? Thanks again for the responses.

So glad to see this forum here. Need some help from the experts. Just installed the 700BT in my 08 GMC Sierra. Navi, IPOD, XM all installed in a flash but when I went to connect to the Bluetooth I had no luck. Tried every conceivable way to connect. This unit is version 2.0 and has the 330 bluetooth software that can supposedly pick up any phone. Updated phone software thru Verizon and still no dice. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks, Rick
