There is an update for the Euro 500, I installed it on my 500 two weeks ago. You'll find the update at Pioneers UK site. But be sure to d/l the file for the 500 and NOT the 700/900 because they are totally different. I also installed Mavericksters Data zip hacks, and it works like a treat.

Couldn't have put it any better myself, mate. I asked for help, got none, so searched and read almost every topic. But the result is that I now know a lot more than several days ago, I feel more confident in what I'm doing regarding hacks, and I eventually installed Mavericks Data mod! So I'm a winner all round

Well, I figured out how to install Mavericksters hacks by searching this forum and reading almost every topic and post. Taken me days, but i've done it and I'm chuffed - thanks Mr. Mav Just to confirm, I'm in the UK, using a 500 model, and the following needs to be altered in the 'Testmode' folder - MITACAP/Testmode/APL2/iGO/content/MapDBInfo - Change "Area: UC" into "Area EW". Now I'm off to do a proper install - already mounted the bracket and cradle mount (minus the HUGE suction cup) on a central air vent, so it's down to hiding all the wiring and interconnecting between head

Make sure you check the following wires are connected correctly: YELLOW- permanent +12volts from battery, not connected via ignition switch RED- switched +12volts from accessory position on ignition switch - it's ok to tap into the feed to the cigarette lighter Hope this helps, Mark

Hi guys, I'm new to this site, new to being the owner of a F500BT, and relatively new to computing. Although not a complete tit I must admit I need your advice on how to perform several things: 1- how to make a backup copy of pre-installed files/folders on my F500 to SDcard 2- the exact way to install and copy Mavericksters DATAzip, both from pc to SDcard and then from SDcard to F500 I think I've copied it correctly to SDcard, but once I get into Windows on the F500 I must admit I'm not having much luck (I'm lost tbh) And although I've done lots of searching I'm still none
