well i have been in the 12volt business for 10 years so i am kind of sure i could figure it out..haha ...ill have to check in to it as i am still deciding .. when you say cut speaker wires , are you saying cut them and "loop" them through the BT ?

when you take it to best buy to have it serviced it does not go to pionner it goes to a local repair shop or they send it out to a repair shop ... i used to work there sometimes stuff doesnt even get fixed and comes back with more pproblems ......i would check the pin out again and make sure the pin is all the way in and it didnt pop out and its proably grounded ... another thing is a tech wouldnt care to mcuh proably if he were trying to fix the unit

anyone have a pic of this parrot unit being talked about ? i am also looking for a BT kit for my nextel phone and do use with my D1 ...i just want something that will mute my radio and have a caller ID screen or tell me whose calling so i can answer it ...haha or is that to high tech ?

how do i get to the vehicle dynamics the route optiosn menu what should it be fastest route or shortest?

i bought it used and didnt get a manuel .. i was wondering does the D1 come with the car dynamics like the N1/2 did ..tells ya the speed and volts ? also how do i change it so i get the the fast route to a destantion ? not so much the highway or back roads just in general fastest way ... also can i change the voice on the lady who tells me to turn ,lol thanks

ok thanks man , i am not goign to bother with the reverse wire as i dont drive backwards down the street so i am not worrying about it effecting me

hey guys , i just got my D1 used ....well on the speed sence wire my buddy who had the same unit says there is a Resitor in line on the factory wire ....i dont have the extension it comes with from pionner ...does anyone know the value of it or if i really need it ??
