  1. I agree...scrolling is actually the better alternative. The voice command in this unit is frankly pretty unusable. what would really be helpful is a list of the letters which would easily let you jump to where you want to be in the alphabet. And I don't mean the one that exists where you have to scroll thru a list just to get to the letter u want
  2. Pardon me if this has been asked and answered, I searched for these and didn't see either. 1. Does anyone else have the problem where, when moving from one track to another on the Ipod, the end of one song and beginning of the next is clipped? I mean, literally you don't hear the last few seconds of the current song or first few of the next one. Doesn't happen if I switch manually, just when I let a whole album play, for example. Very annoying... 2. Does anyone else hate the fact that if the last thing you do before you power off the system is Pause a song in Ipod, that the radio start

    hiss

I have exactly the same problem...took it back to the installer and he told me the hiss was probably coming from my Amp. It's annoying as hell...can't hear it when anything is playing, but having spent over $1000 for the system, peripherals and install, I would expect not to have a hiss (which was never there before when I had my factory radio installed) So now I've taken to explaining that it's a "feature". You know, like those Bose headsets that create white noise so you can't hear what's going on around you....Yeah, that's it.....
  4. I did what the link above recommends, and it works flawlessly. Now I have a little red/green icon on my Nav screen and it toggles the annoying voice on and off. Although I really think it's kind of lame to have to hack your unit to accomplish this (hint, hint Pioneer)
