  1. Sorry, don't think i can help you there. Car is a contract hire car. Had the unit installed by a professional dealer who also installed the cradle for my HTC Touch HD. Actually, I do think the unit has a lot of possibilities but until now it didn't really meet my expectations. It is kind of sluggish and the bluetooth is a drama. Coming from an Avic X1 it is kind of step down. I don't know, maybe I just need to get used to it.
  2. Would have been easier if you had to 2009 model as that comes standard with double DIN. But as suggested here, there kits on the market to convert to double DIN and then, i guess, it would look like this. Sorry for the flash, only had my Ixus nearby to take a pic. If you want i can make some others so you can get a better perspective.
  3. I'm guessing you mean the HTC Touch HD? I've got the same issues with it. On Vodafone, latest firmware on both head unit and HD. With every outgoing call the bluetooth activity only starts at around 4 seconds into the call. I'm starting to instruct friends & family to count to 4 out loud before they start talking! I've been looking for patches on both Pioneer and Parrot sites but so far no luck. i just refuse to believe this is it?? Besides the issues on outgoing calls, incoming calls isn't a walk in the park either. Responsiveness is at best sluggish. Anyone who can give me a solution, i'
  4. Well as long as I am posting I might as well ask you guys this one too: On my former unit, the AVIC-X1R, it was possible to show which traffic congestion would be faced on route. You then would be given the possibility to go a different route. As far as I've found out now, the F900BT can only automatically reroute when there's a traffic congestion? i really just want to see in a glance what kind of traffic i will face while driving the route. Not search through the multiple pages of traffic notifications for the ones i will come across. Any help wwill be appreciated!
  5. Hey guys, Just got my F900BT (European version) last week and up to now I am having mixed feelings on how it's actually working. My former system was a Pioneer AVIC-X1R which i kind of new by heart. Then as I needed to order my new lease car I also needed to make a decission on the navigation. As a 2DIN solution and my experience with the former Pioneer I decided to go with the F900BT. At the same time my phone needed replacement too for which I switched to WM 6.1 after being a Nokia junkie for almost all my mobile life. The HTC Touch HD (Blackstone) seemed to bring the best of all worlds
