That's a pioneer ezrider issue. You will find it either goes to that menu or to the audio menu. I cant change that. However the new mod allows you to select the first screen you go to when selecting map on boot cheers 34by151

If you are reatoring the whole avic and or the data.zip you need to reboot to load this into memory, this is provided in the same menu cheers 34by151

Boot into testmode, delete your settings and reboot. The default for illistrated text is off so it will be that way when the settings reconstruct on reboot. If all else fails restore your backup Cheers 34by151

You can unpack any one of the files in a multipart rar and they will all unpack automaticly, unless one is damaged or missing. So i think you did them all. If you didn't the mod would also not work with missing files Cheers 34by151

With the current mod you can run the apps in the list. In the new version the apps menu has been totally revamped. Wen you start you get a list of standard apps that we have setup for you. You also have the option to alter these, both the name and and the command. You can also delete any of them and add new one ones. When you add you just follow some screens to type in the name on the menu and the command ect Cheers 34by151

That's a pioneer thing. Turn off your audio source then go back to the settings. It will not be greyed out when the audio source is off Cheers 34by151

You should just need the V2 map update. That will aslo install the updated license and exrider to with it. Make sure your sys.txt has the correct model in it BTW the flash disk is 1gb unformatted Cheers 34by151

I suppose the first question is do you have a V2 or V3 firmware Avic as you have to match the mods to your firmware version. If you really think your unit is bricked you can more than likly fix it yourself via the service menu. Do some searching and you will easily find that info. I posted a how to myself a while ago for V3 firmware. If you are sending it back under warranty i would suggest you wipe any mods, even if you just reformat the disk and leave it blank. I would not give pioneer a reason to deny your warranty claim. Not saying they will but no point in putting your hands up.

Nobody, to my knowledge has solved the trip computer issues. Some seem to have no problems with it while it does not work at all for some others. What seems to work is start the AVIC and wait till the gps has fully acquired before moving that car at all. This works for me but I rarely do it. You can assist by reading and searching the forums. If you find a solution let us know we are happy to try it in the new version From our testing it the problem appears to be in the ezrider.exe. If you call the trip compuer before the gps has aquired it crashes the tripcomputer portion of the ezrider r

Sesnsis V17 Maps Just to let everyone know the maps have some issues which I am sorting out before releasing an update. The terrain is very sparse, I have a much more detailed one thai I will package with the maps. POI's need work as the categories as mucked up as the V15.1 maps. Speedcams don't give the correct warnings for red-light camera's I hope to finish editing the files soon and release a new package on the weekend Cheers 34by151

Try deleting all the files from my flash disk and restoring your backup. If your Bluetooth is still "Not Found" you have 2 options reload V3 firmware manually or send it back for repair. You can search and find the info on that but I don't recommend you flashing the unit yourself. You have to know waht you are doing and can easily brick your unit Cheers 34by151

If you have an active route, it also shows the detour distance as well as the total distance and direction. Yo can teh sort on any of these Cheers 34by151

What update? Did you have any msnd files? In the blutetooth upgrade menu, is blutetooth loaded and running? You can reload Wince via the service menu. Do a search and you will find that. DO NOT attempt to reload wince if you don't know what you are doing You can easily brick your AVIC and your only option will be to send it back to pioneer If the bluetooth upgrade menu shows bluetooth is loading wince is fine Cheers 34by151

In Test mode, do you have any MSDN files in /user/userdata/igo/save, if so delete them. Starting msn on TMC models breaks blue tooth. When you go into update blue tooth, does it "not found" or "not loaded" , if it does you need to reload wince If you do apply a blue tooth upgrade DON'T use the us one, use the UK one.
