Hey I had a similar problem with playing movies i have the N-4 and a 60 GB IPOD. If i started a movie and went back to the main menu i could not restart or even resume that movie. i could watch another one until i had gone through them all and then none of them would work. i found if you unplug your ipod and go to the settings tab on your ipod and then the very bottom (i think) the reset settings button. and reset your ipod it would fix it and they all work again. (that should only reset the settings in your ipod it wont delete all you music or movies. Try it out and see if that helps you at a
