no i don't see that anywhere i was wondering about that as well. I guess they forgot to put that in the right hole. I will have to find out

got everything hooked up perfect, but I am having a issue with getting my bluetooth to work right. I got them to recieve each other just fine but when I make a call to my house phone or call to the z-1 i can hear that person just fine. But the person on the house phone can't hear anything. Any help?

Ok i am getting my z-1 installed tomorrow. The guy will do the bypass. So all he needs to do is connect the green parking break to the black ground wire and then take the phone mute wire and the little piece holding that wire in place and stick it in the bottom right side of connector and wire that to the black ground wire and that's it?

ok i tried to hook up the z-1 in my 2006 dodge ram 1500. When I hooked it up I had a problem that it seemed to come on but when I shut the truck off and restarted the radio it would not come back on. I am not sure if i wired it right. I used a Peripheral CHYAH05 to hook the wires up, I guess I need this but I wasn't sure of all the wire connections. Does anyone know the wire diagram for the wires between the Peripheral CHYAH05 and the Z-1. The BIGGER problem was I just left the radio alon for the night to go try again the next day, when i went to check things out i heard a noise i looked aroun

i got a 2006 dodge ram with sirius radio installed in the factory radio. I don't know where the sirius antena is but there is a little black antena on my roof. i wanted to see if i can use that on my z-1. but does any one know what that wire would look like coming into my factory radio.

on the z-1, i tried so far just to do a basic install. Just wireing up the power wires and speakers and the wires that go to the Peripheral CHYAH05. That's all I did so far just to see if the system was working ok. Well the system boots up fine. But when I shut the truck off then try to start back up the radio dosen't seem to come back on. But if I pull the wires from the truck and then plug them back in and reset the radio it boots back up. What am I doing wrong. Also on my 2006 dodge ram there is 2 sets of wires coming out of the factory radio what is the other one for. Also i am hooking up

ok I think I am going to give this a try. Few questions Where can I get power for my sirius unit, and the back up camera? can i just use the stock speakers that are in my truck? do i need a amp i got a sept 06 z-1 what do i do for the full access of the unit. I was told by a installer that pioneer wanted to be the 1st to make there system pretty much impossable to modify. He said you would have to take the radio apart and remove a gyro i think he called it. Is that true? This seems more and more complicated i get different answers about how to hook this up and what i need to install this in a 2006 dodge ram 1500. I am looking for someone who can hook this up for me in the philadelphia area with full use of system when driving. Also I have the sirius box, the bluetooth, and camera to install. Like to add amp and new speakers, what is a good amp and speakers. Also is there any thing else i need to hook this think up. What would it cost to install everything. thanks coball24

ok so if I got this correct I need the Peripheral CHYAH05 which will take care of all my wiring for the Z-1 radio. And I think I figured out that the SWI-PS is for controling the radio from the stering wheel. I don't have that anyway, so I guess that is all I will need. Correct. Thanks for your help in advance.

where can i get the wire set you are talking about.

I did purchase a kit from crutchfield for 2006 dodge ram with navication system. Won't that work. It looks like it has the lower slot or you can take it off. Plus can I buy a wire set for hooking up to my dodge

Has anyone wired a Z1 in a 06 ram yet. I want to try to install this myself so I can have full funtion with it.
