It's all installed now. To me the best view in sunlight is the pioner blue day. I like the sunset one for night. Thanks for the help. It was only that damn gfx folder that I was stumped on I didn't know how I could delete somthing that was not there as soon and you said it's ok if there was none than I was good to go. Treid the image res but I didn't like it so I went back to the pioneer one. Thanks for the explaining guys. I can't see how this avic could get any nicer. Now if we Gould only get rid of all the nags and warning screens we would be set. Lol. Awsome mod

I just looked again on the AVIC this time(I was using a backup of my flash disk 3.0 that I have on my PC before) and NOWHERE do I have a GFX folder to remove in the....my flash disk/apl2/igo. section. I do have one (gfx folder)IF I actually go IN the data.zip that is in the my flash disk/apl2/igo section on the AVIC and the insides of that folder look alot like yours... maybe my AVIC is all fucked up? anyways.. it works well right now..... I deleted the most of the west coast of the US maps along with the corresponding POIs and I have more than enough room now... you guys get what I am tr

I did read.... you say to remove the GFX folder... before you install the new one... BUT I DONT HAVE A GFX folder to remove.... the only GFX folder that I already have IS in the DATA ZIP when I go in it... not the apl2/igo folder...(the data.zip is in that folder though) dont know why you guys get so hostile... just asking.. thought I explained it clearly enough.. for now I just installed everything except for the GFX folder and the schemes and the Image.res.... It works fine... all is ok... 3dcars look nice... its like having a whole new AVIC... just would like to get the new schemes..

k I think I found where it is... the GFX folder that is... ITS IN THE DATA.zip right? if thats the one.. why didnt you put your stuff in there insted and make it a complete pakage.... Im wery of screwing around with the data.zip ON THE AVIC but if all you have to do is delete the one that is in YOUR data.zip file and install the one that you say to install(the new one) that seams to me easy... and I found the maps and poi to delete too.... thanks again... but I still dont know where to put the image.res file though.... I bet it in the data.zip too right? lol

thanks Abb for your reply.... but I cant delete what I dont have.. lol I dont have any GFX folder on my avic.....lol Ill get rid of most of the US states Ill never go.... where are the Maps located on the "my flash disk" and where would be the POI's I can delete so I have some room... also.. where do I put that Image.res file you have to get the main menu changed to your chrome theme.... PS this mod is awesome.. I was bored with Diatifa's(however you spell it lol) mod... this is like using a new unit all over again,,, just cant wait to get that GFX folder in so I can change some

like If I want to add a 8" screen will the GPS be shown on that also... in other words.. will everything that in on the main screen be "cloned" on the 2 screen...???

well I tried it.. dl-ed some poi icons and locations from poifriend.com and used that file in the avic feeds software... and put it on the SD card.... they work.. but only as long as I leave the sd card in the unit... I dont know how to tx the file to the avic so it stays... but maybe its the only way it work without modding the files inside the avic.....

I love the new 2d view,,,, and the sounds are better and the maps for my areas have the new roads,,, I guess I lucked out....

I just got mine, and I am rar'ing the 2 sd cards now..... I will give my device id, my media ID and the password I got only if there is no way that pioneer can find me... I am uploading them now...

I live in Montreal, I ordered Friday around 1pm and today 2:45 pm pouraltor (Monday) is at my door.... so the depot must not have been far away... geeze... way too go! ok I installed it... it went flawless.... no errors or anything..... this make the deck much more fun and now I cant wait to install the new mods.... whoo hoo.....

well I used the "reset to OEM" zip that I got here a few weeks ago.. and I reset the unit... then I upgraded to 2.06. I am ready... I hope it goes smooth., anyways, damn this unit is bland stock. whats up with the scale bar and the route info stuff there when there is no route active? lol and the cancel route is behind the menus? and NO mute button... wtf were they thinking???

I bought the 3.0 update from Pioneer Canada 95$ shipped to my door.... I hope it dont take long to get here... the dpdursst and IDT mods are driving me to update my unit.... I hope it dont fuck up my unit like alot of others here get hung up at the 2nd sd card.... (not the hacked mods) anyways.,,,, I know someone already asked this... I just dont feel like looking its a real mess here..... I have a modded unit, should I reset everything before going to 3.0 or just update it as is.... thanks guys
