Thanks.....new testmode file worked!!! Is the firmware update 3.0 worth it?

I believe that this update may prevent you from booting to test mode (after install).... forcing you to purchase the firmware update 3.0 from Pioneer. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a solution? there must be a file in the update that is causing this problem.......perhaps it can be hacked (i wouldn't know where to begin). I had originally installed a hacked theme posted by a user...I noticed that a new update was available on the Pioneer website...I installed this update and cannot boot to test mode to re-install the hacked theme, which I thought was better Anyone???

I guess you guys are right....it is something that I will need to sit down and spend some time on. Whats the best way to do it??? Pick a good song and have it continue to play while adjusting the equalizer settings.....I have a Acura EL with HERTZ speakers all around and 2 pheonix gold amps...sounds good right now but I know I could get more out of it. I may have to adjust the gains and settings on the amps also..... thanks for the responses Caveman Captain

Just recently installed a F90.....wondering if anyone cares to share equalizer settings for optimum sound quality...

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who posted "how 2" info on this site re: the installation of the F90. I just recently installed it in my Acura EL with a software bypass and I (and passengers) are able to enjoy movies in motion thanks to the information I gathered while reading all the info posted on this site......... I look forward to finding ways to improve this system and posting results to share.
