  1. Had an e-mail from Pioneer UK yesterday letting me know there is a new update. No doubt pricey and difficult to find: http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/25 ... g_SHOP0710 Anyone got their hands on this yet? Will it change the screen view to match the pictures on the website? I already have the CNSD - 100FM installed which has given me version 3 of the software.
  2. I have been creating some custom POIs using Navagate feeds but seem to have hit a brick wall. When I try to save any more onto my SD card it tells me "unable to save max file 1.4MB." The SD card is not full - anyone else had this issue? Is there only this limit to customised POI's?
  3. I am operating the 3.021 software UK version and I have created some POIs on an SD card. They are visible on my F900BT but what I would like to do is to place them into one grouping. I have set up a new group to include them in. I have then tried to follow the manual in the POI settings area but cannot get the group to be displayed so that I can change these per the instructions listed under "Editing your customised POI" - p115 on the X series manual. Anyone able to assist?
  4. I understand how to use Navgate Feeds to create custom POIs. When I put the SD card in my F900 I can see those POIs but I cannot work out how to store/transfer them on the unit if that is indeed possible. Can this be done or do I need to maintain the custom database on the SD card? I have read the manual from cover to cover and though it touches on the subject at times I do not seem to able to find step by step instructions on how to achieve this. I am also presuming that any icons created in AVIC Feeds can only be attached to Custom POIs and not those supplied on the unit. Any assi
  5. It seemed to run the update OK and said it was complete and going to reboot. It was when it was rebooted that the problem started. If I put the SD card in now it just seems to ignore it and go to start up and then freezes.
  6. I have today tried to upgrade my F900 to 2.007 using the firmware on the Pioneer UK website. It seemed to upload fine, but after reboot I am getting a system start up in progress message that seems to hang. I have tried to reset and upload the software again but all to no avail and I am just getting the same message over and over with no functionality available. I have not used any hacks etc previously only having done the previous upgrade since it was installed. Can anyone offer any advice to help me?
  7. If it has different mapping will this mean all new POI's with better logos etc.?
  8. I am slowly trying to get to grips with my new system. I have used the Navgate Feeds software to create a custom POI and I can read it on my F900 from the SD card. The question I have is how do I save this custom POI onto the unit so I can delete it from the card. I have read the manual over and over and it still has not clicked!
  9. Thanks I am sure I have the latest European firmware loaded so I must assume it is a phone issue. I have now found a useful POI converter. Now to create POI's to load via an SD card what do I do? The Navgate Feeds software seems awkward due to its 300 line per file limit so I want to try and bypass it. The software seems to create kmb files to load with icons attached so I am assuming I need to try and replicate this. I can create the kmb files but how do I attach icons to these? Once done can they be loaded to the unit via an SD card?
  10. Hi all I recently had the F900BT installed in my car, I am in the UK. I have a couple of queries I need help with. Firstly my phone contacts have multiple entries on the unit even though they are stored as one entry in my phone (a Samsung) with home, office and mobile numbers. There does not appear to be anything distinguishing between them on my unit, is that correct? Secondly I have been trying to get some POI files together to load into my unit. I have tried to created kml files using the Navgate Feeds software but this is resricted to 300 lines per entry. I presume I need
  11. Hello all New UK member here just having purchased the F900BT. Still finding my way around the system but I have been finding the phone contacts book a nuisance. Most of my contacts have home, mobile and office numbers but the unit only displays the name when it transfers from my Samsung giving me 2 or 3 seperate icons for each contact but seemingly nothing to distinguish between them. I can never be sure which to press. In the manual it does mention that each number is counted seperately but on reading the details of firmware upgrade 1.9 it suggests that it supports phonebook tags
