  1. Just use the telephone book app and insert the file manually. It works the best and will allow you to completely format them to look perfect. Most phones don't transfer 100% smooth. I transfered mine, it didn't look right so I just edited them and re loaded it manually from testmode.

  2. Please enlighten me, are we talking about official pioneer 3.0 upgrade specifically for the F90BT?.... I am starting to get confused on whats what anymore......

I am also having an issue where every time I boot it up it always reverts back to the sd card for it's input. The last input used is not coming back on. This is after an upgrade to 3.01 from 3.0 on an F90BT with NO mods of any kind.

No. This is doing the upgrade with the available info here in this section. I used the X910BT software and then did an upgrade to V3.0101 from Pioneers website. Everything is working great except for this one odd thing where it loses the last input that was used. All other functions work perfectly and all other settings get saved also.

  3. Why oh why are they so bloody slow. My UK F900 is just pathetically slow. It's ridiculous. How much of an improvement is V3, speed wise?

I'm gonna ditch this if nothing happens with V3, I just cant live with it anymore :(

The buttons are much faster, that's about the only fix of substantive quality. Boot is slow, and bugs persist.

But the buttons are faster... actually if you just do the WinCE upgrade you can get that fix for free. No need to pay 60 or 120 bucks.

+1 My F90 is MUCH more resonsive now. And my mods still work. :D

  4. I don't think there is a way to do this. It is only a 3 band Parametric EQ. If you want more than that you will need external equalization. I plan on eventually getting an Audio Control DQX when I finish my system.

  5. As has been written here before, the 3.0 update includes igo 8.3 this uses an other map-format then 8.0, so you really cannot use it whitout the mapupdate, so it will be unlikely pioneer is going to release it without....

I wish they'd just release it, PERIOD!

+1 The waiting is killing me.

  6. Am I the only one getting fed up with XM since the merger?

I now have to listen to another market's traffic instead of getting just Philly or Baltimore when I'm in that area (I'm surprised they bothered to leave NYC on it's own channel), they're raising the price on the second radio subscription even though the merger was supposed to keep prices the same and we're not even sure how long they're going to be around with all the debt coming due this year. Don't even get me started on the mangling of the channel line up, the addition of DJs that talk talk talk on what were previously auto-pilot stations and the fact that I manage to hear the same songs so often on the channels I used to listen to without repeats for days I think the play list has gone down to about 3 hours of music on each. That's why I had XM in the first place and not Sirius.

Now I understand the vote with your dollar theory. I have a lifetime subscription for my primary radio and an extended subscription for my second but I'm seriously considering canceling both. I've spoken with the lab rats that answer the phone and complained about the changes but I get the impression they just smile and nod without even hearing what I say.

Anyone know if there is someone really listening at the company or are we all just griping to each other while Howard, Opera, Karmazin, etc. go laughing to the bank? I'd be more than happy to write a letter on paper if I knew it would get a response or even consideration.

    +10000000

I am very close to cancelling my 2 radios also. Sirius sucks and has allways sucked. WAY too many DJ's babbling. Way short playlists and most of my favorite stations have been replaced with their completely awful Sirius counterparts. At this point nothing would make me happier than to see the whole thing go under and declared a FAILED experiment. It is now nothing but terrestrial radio with less commercials. All of the things that made it worth paying for have pretty much all been stripped away. I've tried complaining through emails and over the suport line. They don't care at all, and are completely ill equipped to deal with these calls and emails. It's a shame that XM had to destroyed in this way.
