  1. Well, I got an email back, after two calls. Pioneer actually was quite fast about the response, although not too informative about the actual problem. They said "They could not determine if the unit was opened or damaged prior too, or during shipping so "this time" they would fix it, since no parts are needed. "I need to note, that in the future, If the unit is sent back, I would have too pay a servicing fee if it appears opened." The attitude was not appreciated, but it looks like this issue is resolved...for now. Thanks for your help, I do appreciate it. I was planning on calling some people
  2. They said that my 'dvd drive top is "loose"..and my warranty is void. The unit is an avic f900. Anyone heard of this happening? I did NOT open it or anything like that. Any suggestions? I am so mad. it is a 4 month old unit, covered under warranty supposedly. I got a 900 dollar warranty from fed ex.... i do not know if it was fed ex's fault or not. I am demanding more information from the tech, and will be fighting this. Anyone ever heard of this happening?
  3. I have had it for 3 months, and it won't start. I turn the car on, and the lights turn on for a few seconds, I hear the fan, but the screen is blank. I have even tried resetting the unit. I do have my XM power with the radios yellow power line. It's been fine though for many months. Could this have anything to do with the problem? Any suggestions? If I send it into pioneer, how long does it normally take?
