Well, I got an email back, after two calls. Pioneer actually was quite fast about the response, although not too informative about the actual problem. They said "They could not determine if the unit was opened or damaged prior too, or during shipping so "this time" they would fix it, since no parts are needed. "I need to note, that in the future, If the unit is sent back, I would have too pay a servicing fee if it appears opened." The attitude was not appreciated, but it looks like this issue is resolved...for now. Thanks for your help, I do appreciate it. I was planning on calling some people
